The V4X109 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 109 mm (4.291 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 117 mm (4.61 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature.
