The V1X11.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.5 mm (0.453 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 13.5 mm (0.53 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
