The V2.5X118 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 118 mm (4.646 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 123 mm (4.84 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Common environments for this compound include aerospace, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
