The V4X12 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 12 mm (0.472 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 20 mm (0.79 in). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, oil and gas, and automotive fuel systems.
