V4.5X12 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 12 mm (0.472 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 21 mm (0.83 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.
