This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 124 mm (4.882 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 130 mm (5.12 in), catalogued under part number V3X124. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
