The V4X124 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 124 mm (4.882 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 132 mm (5.2 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and chemical processing.
