V2X125 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 125 mm (4.921 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 129 mm (5.08 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
