-131 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

V75131 is an AS568-131 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.674 in (42.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.88 in (47.75 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
