V3X13.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 13.5 mm (0.531 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 19.5 mm (0.77 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.
