Part number V1X14 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 14 mm (0.551 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 16 mm (0.63 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
