V4X140 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 140 mm (5.512 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 148 mm (5.83 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.
