V3X142 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 142 mm (5.591 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 148 mm (5.83 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to many acids, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
