APG stocks the V1.8X15, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 15 mm (0.591 in), a cross section of 1.8 mm (0.071 in), and an outside diameter of 18.6 mm (0.73 in). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in aerospace, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
