V3X158 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 158 mm (6.22 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 164 mm (6.46 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
