2.5MM CS X 16MM ID BLACK FKM 75D

The V2.5X16 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 16 mm (0.63 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 21 mm (0.83 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
