The V2.4X16.3 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 16.3 mm (0.642 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 21.1 mm (0.83 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
