The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability.
