Ordered as V2X16.5, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 16.5 mm (0.65 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 20.5 mm (0.81 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
