The V3X16.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 16.5 mm (0.65 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 22.5 mm (0.89 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.
