APG stocks the V3X168, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 168 mm (6.614 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 174 mm (6.85 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
