This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 17 mm (0.669 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 20 mm (0.79 in), catalogued under part number V1.5X17. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.
