Ordered as V2.4X17.3, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 17.3 mm (0.681 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 22.1 mm (0.87 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
