APG stocks the VB75174, an AS568-174 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.737 in (221.92 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.943 in (227.15 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, high-temperature process equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
