Part number V2.62X17.46 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17.46 mm (0.687 in), a cross section of 2.62 mm (0.103 in), and an outside diameter of 22.7 mm (0.89 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
