Ordered as V3X17.5, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 17.5 mm (0.689 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 23.5 mm (0.93 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
