APG stocks the VB75176, an AS568-176 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.237 in (234.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.443 in (239.85 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
