VB75177 is an AS568-177 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.487 in (240.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.693 in (246.2 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
