APG stocks the V2.7X18.4, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 18.4 mm (0.724 in), a cross section of 2.7 mm (0.106 in), and an outside diameter of 23.8 mm (0.94 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
