V3X18.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 18.5 mm (0.728 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 24.5 mm (0.96 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Common environments for this compound include high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
