The V2X2 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2 mm (0.079 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 6 mm (0.24 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to many acids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
