Part number V2.5X20 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 20 mm (0.787 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 25 mm (0.98 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
