-202 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-202 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.234 in (5.94 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.512 in (13 mm), catalogued under part number VB75202. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
