Part number V2X20.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 20.5 mm (0.807 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 24.5 mm (0.96 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.
