This o-ring is supplied in AS568-206 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.484 in (12.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.762 in (19.35 mm), catalogued under part number VB75206. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
