This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 21.6 mm (0.85 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 26.4 mm (1.04 in), catalogued under part number V2.4X21.6. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
