V2.4X21.8 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 21.8 mm (0.858 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 26.6 mm (1.05 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces. This item is further identified as Metric O-RING, JIS P22.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
