The V1.5X22 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 22 mm (0.866 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 25 mm (0.98 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oil and gas, chemical processing, and aerospace.
