APG stocks the V4X22, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 22 mm (0.866 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 30 mm (1.18 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
