V4X220 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 220 mm (8.661 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 228 mm (8.98 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, aerospace, and high-temperature process equipment.
