Part number V75223 is an AS568-223 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.609 in (40.87 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.887 in (47.93 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.
