Part number V4X228 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 228 mm (8.976 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 236 mm (9.29 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
