-229 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

The VB75229 is an AS568-229 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.359 in (59.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.637 in (66.98 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and chemical processing.
