V5X230 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 230 mm (9.055 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 240 mm (9.45 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and oil and gas.
