V4X232 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 232 mm (9.134 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 240 mm (9.45 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.
