The V4X235 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 235 mm (9.252 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 243 mm (9.57 in). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
