The V2.62X23.81 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 23.81 mm (0.937 in), a cross section of 2.62 mm (0.103 in), and an outside diameter of 29.05 mm (1.14 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
