Ordered as VB75M1.5X24, this is a brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 24 mm (0.945 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 27 mm (1.06 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
