APG stocks the V75242, an AS568-242 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.984 in (101.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.262 in (108.25 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.

It sees regular use in aerospace, oil and gas, and semiconductor equipment.
