The V5X245 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 245 mm (9.646 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 255 mm (10.04 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
